OHS Wrestling

So it looks like we got our flyers out a little bit late... :) A lot of you missed the parents meeting we had tonight (Thursday). Here is the info that you missed out on...

We will be starting wrestling practice this coming Monday (the 10th) at 4:30 pm. Practices will run Monday through Friday for approximately one and a half hours.

The registration fee is $50 per boy. This included the participation fee, their t-shirt, and the uniform rental. In addition to that, the weekend tournaments will be approximately $10 per tournament. All of these costs can be taken care of through our Fotogenix fundraiser but I will post more details about that in a later post.

If you need wrestling shoes, they can be found for about $30, which can also be earned through the fundraiser. I should be able to get some discount coupons for Scoreboard Sports on University Parkway and State Street in Orem. Make sure to check with me before you get any so that you get the best deal possible.

At wrestling practice, the boys can wear a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. If they don't have wrestling shoes yet, they can practice in bare feet or in their socks, but we ask that they don't wear their street shoes on the wrestling mats.
