Having said that about the fundraising, here is the information about the two fundraisers we will be doing.  I will go over both of them on the first day of practice and answer any questions that the boys might have.

I will also post information here early next week about the different benchmarks that can be hit to get certain costs covered, so check back often!

Sports Guide Fundraiser
Only high school wrestlers will participate.

Ad Order Form and Information - All orders for the program need to be in before our first dual meet on November 24th.  (We ask that every wrestler come up with at least one half page worth of ads for our winter program.)

"The Orange Guy" Fundraiser
Both jr high and high school wrestlers will participate.

The Sales Pitch

A good selling pitch might go like this:
"Hello, my name is (student's name). We're selling California Navel Oranges and Texas Rio Star Grapefruit to help raise money to buy new equipment (or whatever you are raising money for) for this year. We have a 20-pound gift box of each for only $24.00, which is only $1.19 per pound. You can't find this size and quality in the stores right now. The way this fund-raiser works is this: I have an order sheet that we can fill out. You can either pay cash or check. It will only take a few minutes. Our fruit will be delivered in early December, and I will bring your box(s) directly back to you. This is going to a very good cause and we really need your support to make our program for this year. Thanks for supporting our cause. You can make your check out to (group name)."
We will be pre-selling throughout November and will deliver the boxes in the second week of December.  (See sign-up sheets below.)  Our team goal is to sell at least 500 cases between the junior high and high school teams.  This means that we need each boy to aim to sell 15-20 cases.

Orders must be turned in to Coach Maughan by the 1st of December. Please make sure to fill out the sign up forms completely!
